As well as being responsible for the Village Hall itself, the Trustees of the Village Hall are also responsible for the recreation ground and play area. Whilst we are able to fund the upkeep and maintenance of the Village Hall through hosting many events and local groups, the recreation ground and play area raises no funds whatsovever.

The aim of the Crowdfunding page is to raise £3000 which will then enable us to refresh the bark chippings in the play area – a job which needs to be done every few years. These chippings are expensive as they are especially treated for play areas. So, if you or any of your family have enjoyed our recreation ground in recent years then please consider giving an amount – no matter how small – to help us to upkeep and maintain this wonderful asset to the village.

Any monies raised above the £3000 target will be ring fenced for any future costs.
