We are all clubbing together to let our fab colleague & friend Anne Smith enjoy some well deserved fun with her husband & two young kids. A wee treat for an amazing family!

Anne started working at Dixons Travel Newcastle in 2013. In June 2014, Anne was diagnosed with breast cancer the same week as her 1st wedding anniversary. Anne went on to have a mastectomy, chemotherapy and radiotherapy.

2 days before Anne’s 40th birthday, in March of 2015, she was informed that her cancer had spread to her lung (metastasised) and was now terminal. Anne started chemotherapy again, receiving treatment 2 weeks out of 3 ever since, & has scans every 3-4 months to monitor her progress.

In recent weeks, after suffering from headaches, Anne requested a brain scan & she has been informed that the cancer has unfortunately spread to her brain and she now must start a new course of treatment, including brain radiotherapy.

Anne loves her job & working so much that in the three years since she was diagnosed, until now, she had only had one day off work for illness! What a woman!! A genuine delight to work with, & a fantastic friend with a heart of gold.

Anne's colleagues & friends would love to raise some funds to send her on a short break with her fab husband & two brilliant boys to do what they love doing most - having FUN & lots of laughs!!
