I am raising £1,000 for The Tree of Giving charity pilot project to help 20 vulnerable people with essential support they need to begin rebuilding their lives.

The Tree of Giving is a new charity dedicated to reducing homelessness and alleviating poverty. Through careful needs assessments and one-to-one conversations, both on the street and in people’s homes, we have listened closely to the barriers they face and identified the first 20 individuals we will support.

This pilot project focuses on three urgent needs:

- Helping 20 homeless people get phones so they can access support, wellbeing services, and useful apps, with training provided where needed.

- Helping 20 homeless people open bank accounts by taking forms to them, supporting them through the process, and covering any costs.

- Providing essential travel support through preloaded cards so people can attend food and clothing banks, hospitals, and mental wellbeing centres.

These are practical steps, but they can make a life-changing difference. A phone can connect someone to help. A bank account can open the door to stability. Travel support can make it possible to reach the services that matter most.
