Story

I im helping to raise some money for Trelana Nursing Home and their activities fund to enable them to take the residents out and do more activities.... You don't just go to a care home and wait till its your time!

So it turns out my grandad (93) Bill Green was first to sign up and I've agreed to go along with home. Also now along for the ride is Tim Roberts my brother and his sons Olly and Jake.
I'll add Anna Roberts my wife to the list too so she does not feel left out.

Many will know my grandads story, lived abroad most of his life, came back to the UK and ended up having a leg amputated and still pushing on with life.. After moving back to the seaside down in Bude to be near my mum and the sea of course he ended up having his other leg amputated now leaving him legless... And not from the beer consumption. Many will know his joy of life and that he's hanging out for a letter from the Queen at 100 so still has a lot of drive.

So what are we doing... A walk on the camel trail or something I hear you say..😂 No nothing that easy we are heading to the Adrenalin Quarry to taken on the famous zip wire. 93 first to sign up must run in the family, let's go and get that blood pumping.

There will be plenty of video and photos on the day and the local paper has signed up to do an article and the local TV might be interested to see us on the 24th April.
Just 1 person missing now to make a 4 generations of family, mum (Penny White), do something adventurous and prove care homes aren't a boring place.

I don't ever do any begging for money storey's but making older generations happy and giving them something to look forward is one I'm happy to beg for, it's going to come to us all at some point.
