Weʼve raised £20 to Help Rebuild Trent Recreational Area

    Trent, Dorset, United Kingdom
Funded on Monday, 9th October 2017

    Story

Last summer the play equipment in the village park was condemned and fenced off leaving the local children with no play area, for some young families this area was vital and the nearest park is 5 miles away and with no bus service in the village you need a car to get there.

Unfortunately the land is not council owned and therefore any repairs or replacements is down to the local community to fund. A team has been put together to help raise the funds required to replace the old equipment and make the area suitable for all ages. Any donations received will go towards new play equipment, your help would be greatly appreciated however big or small.

    Thank you

We are a team of local mums that have come together to raise funds for the village play area. Some of us live in the village and our children attend the local school which is next to the play area. The children used the park most days and feel it's lose.
