Story

In a time where the community is falling apart, Treorchy & Cwmparc Boys & Girls Club need the communities support now more than ever.

For everyone who has used the Club over the years (no matter when it was or what it was for), whose kids have used the Club and played football for us, came to us for our Youth Centre, the schools that continue to use & support us and for all the festivals and market stalls that will hopefully be able to continue at the Club; we're asking you to help us in a time where we are most at need.

The Club suffered a lot of water damage early part of 2020 due the leaking roof and are still yet to recover from this. The funds we raise will go towards the repairs of the roof which is currently causing water damage to the walls throughout the snooker hall and also water damage that is getting through the skirting boards & floor.

The snooker hall is in constant use by all the kids that use the facility, which includes YEPS Youth Club, Treorchy Comprehensive School & Volunteers and Members of the Club.

The extent of the damage is going to cost so much more than £2,000 to repair but as a Club, and long standing members of the community, we know the difficult times that we are currently faced with during this pandemic. If everyone would kindly come together to support us at this time, hopefully we can achieve our final goal of £5,000 to repair the damage to it's full extent.

We know as a community this is a lot to ask but we know throughout the years, how much Treorchy & Cwmparc Boys & Girls Club has been well used my the majority of the community & well appreciated too.

The Club is the heart of all festivals and table top/market stalls & it would be a shame for these events not to go ahead or not to be able to find the space that they need in order to keep them going, which is something the Club can provide.

For the sake or the community, the adults, kids, their future kids, the volunteers and the members, please come together with us and support the Club.
