Story
I am a design technology teacher at Tretherras School in Newquay. I was contacted by a student asking if we could design and make a few face visors for our community key workers. We made a number of prototypes and eventually developed a simple but effective laser cut design. We have developed a design which can be made quickly and cheaply unlike other 3D printed solutions.
Our aim is to provide free face visors to key workers in our community and to share our computer aided design file to other makers around the world.

4 years agoSo grateful for your support. You are very generous. We have already distributed over 200 visors to the community and we have a further 300 made but waiting for elastic to be delivered. As soon as it arrives we will continue to get them to the people in greatest need.

4 years agoManufacture is going really well. Made a couple of slight design improvements to make it even better. Thanks to Dominoes Newquay for our pizza lunch. That kept us working. Managed to deliver about 90 visors this afternoon. The next batch will be ready to deliver on Monday.
