We are a concerned group of volunteers involved in film-making, including Cannes film nominated directors, cameramen, special effects experts, producers and many more within the film industry and already have the involvement of performers in all fields of the arts, to make a documentary using a wealth of worldwide talent and promote the cause of the Native American's at the Standing Rock site, North Dakota, United States.
Standing rock is the controversial site of the intended project for an oil pipeline currently being forced through Native American land and is a major cause for concern to their only source of drinking water, and the source of drinking water for another 17.5 million US citizens, many not even aware of the problem themselves.
Many claims have been made through promotional videos from companies involved in the pipeline and completely sidestep the well renowned and worrying history of leaks in the infrastructure that has already been the cause of much environmental damage throughout the US,
The US administration is ignoring the plight of the Natives and while the media is either worryingly silent on this, or biased against the protectors themselves that are merely concerned citizens for the future of their families, the Whitehouse itself is currently being inundated with millions of calls from all over the globe, but have made no effort to resolve the issue and save the one remaining source of drinking water for the future of the families and children of the Natives.
