2 years agoMany thanks to all those who donated. Sadly Ned passed away in hospital but Nan & Ellen are now comfortably homed in temporary accommodation until a local bungalow becomes available, hopefully in the next 3 weeks. The fundraising page will now close in a few days.

2 years agoThank you all for your support. We are hoping that Ned & Nan will be able to come out of hospital next week. The money raised means they can rent a flat in the short term until they can explore and agree on suitable accommodation until whatever. Still early days following the fire. I cannot find appropriate words to say thank you to so many who have been so brilliants in the last two weeks.

The three elderly residents were brought out with seconds to spare. Today (20th Nov) two remain in hospital.. Everything in the house was lost to the fire. two of the three were born in the house over 90 years ago and have never lived any where else.
