On Friday the 4th of May, I am competing in a white collar boxing event, and will be raising funds for the #RideforCharlie foundation. Charlie was an amazingly talented young athlete who sadly passed away in his sleep on the 20th January 2017. The #RideforCharlie foundation has been set up by Charlie's parents Nick and Sarah and brother Tom, to help aspiring young athletes and to raise awareness for C-R-Y ( Cardiac risk in the young) . So far I have been training for 8 weeks, not had any alcohol ( apart from testing, I do work for a brewery! Ha!)
