The day care unit of St Clares hospice are looking for a potting shed for the benefit of the male guests who attend St Clares on a wednesday. It is always a struggle to provide activities for the men as opposed to the women and a potting shed would be a big boost for the men. It is envisaged plants nurtued in the shed would be planted out arround the grounds of the hospice or sold to raise funds.

St Clares does a great job looking after its guests both on a day care basis and end of life care which ive seen through my wife who has worked there for the past 10 years and recently been treated there as an in patient. The hospice is a fantastic benefit to the people of South Tyneside and if we can reach our aim the potting shed would be a great assett to the day care unit
