    Story

The ‘Veterans Change Partnership’ (VCP) is a Community Interest Company (CIC) with clear charitable objectives, intended to deliver an innovative, special purpose, intensive programme of rehabilitation and family support for military veteran offenders. In 2014, research by HM Inspector of Prisons, reported that 7% of the prison population were military veterans (circa 6,000) with an equivalent number on some form of Probation/Community Order. Aside from the effects on the individuals and their families, this level of unsuccessful military transition represents a considerable cost to the taxpayer. Hi All, You will see how two people have been very generous with their support. Actually, if all serving and veteran personnel were to simply donate the cost of one pint of beer, we would rapidly meet our target. That is all it would take to make a profound difference to many veterans and their families. Once you have made your contribution, please share this with your friends and colleagues; thank you.
