A group of women from Falcon Boat Club are stepping far beyond our comfort zones, taking on a challenge many of us never imagined we could do as we prepare for Blenheim Palace Triathlon on Sunday 7th June.

Many of us are non-runners, non-cyclists, and nervous swimmers - we’re all doing something new, and a little bit scary. But we’re doing it together - supporting each other, celebrating every breakthrough, and proving that courage grows when it’s shared.

We’re taking on this challenge for Falcon Boat Club’s outreach programme, helping open up rowing to people who haven’t had the chance before - particularly those from the most disadvantaged communities in Oxford. By breaking down financial and access barriers, the programme is working to make rowing more inclusive, welcoming, and accessible to all.
