We are raising money for Skylah-Mae, she is a 5 year old pupil at our school who has terminal cancer. She was diagnosed with retinoblastoma (eye cancer) at the very young age of 4 months old. After her parents received the tragic news, Skylah had to undergo a series of chemo therapy and cryotherapy and much more, along with having to have brain surgery at only one year old to remove the tumours from her brain. Despite only being given a limited amount of time Skylah yet again is defying the odds and is still here fighting with us. Unfortunately Skylah’s tumours are growing again so some of the teachers at New Bradwell School are completing a triathlon to help raise money to give Skylah and her family and amazing experience that they will not forget.

She is an inspiration to us all and is a pure example of joy, happiness and the simple will to live life. We want to play our part in letting her live the best possible life she can.
