About Austin 🧡

Austin was born a very normal, smiley, happy baby.

As the months progressed Austin‘s mum noticed a delay in his development and that he was unable to meet the milestones expected of her baby, such as rolling over, sitting up, crawling, walking or talking. His little body was losing its strength and also stiffness had occurred in his arms and legs.

When Austin was a year old he saw a paediatrician who intially thought it was Cerebal Palsy but Austin continued to deteriorate, he couldn’t chew or swallow, started losing alot of weight, having seizures and his eyesight started to fade.

A year later after more tests Mri’s and brain scans Austins diagnosis was finally confirmed, he had a very rare brain disorder that affects only 1 child in a million ‘ INFANTILE SANDHOFFS DISEASE’ causing rapid development regression within the first 6 months of life.

Courtney was told there was no cure and that death occurs within the first 3 years of life .

Her beautiful baby boy was slowly dying infront of her eyes.

Austin is two and a half years old and has now recently been moved from hospital to a hospice for end of life care.. we didnt think he would still be here this week as its been touch and go every single night and even though there is no cure he is still clinging on but is slowly fading away in front of our eyes while all we can do is sit, watch and wait.

No mother should have to sit and watch helplessly as her baby dies in front of her… she is only 22 years old but is one of the strongest women i know.

Austin also has a big brother Bentley who is only 5 years old who absolutley dotes on Austin.. he refuses to leave his baby brothers side and is staying with Austin at the hospice 💔

Please help me to dig deep to raise as much money as we can to help Austins mum with his funeral costs so she can give him a send off fit for a king. I would also love to raise enough money for Bentley so we can give him a suprise trip to Lapland to meet the real santa claus and put a smile back on his little face. No little boy should have to go through this 💔

we are turning facebook ORANGE for Austin to raise awarenees of this awful disease that not many of us have ever heard of .Austins grandad would like to raise as much as we possibly can so he can start a charity off in Austins name to help other families who are going through the same heartache 🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡

Can i ask everyone who reads this to please put an orange heart / facebook frame on your social media facebook/ instagram and to share this to gain maximum funds for this beautiful family 🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡
