Story

My son was diagnosed with automune cholangitis and bowel colitis disease, at the age of 13. He was constantly in and out of birmingham childrens hopsital, on the liver ward until he was 15. As he got older he started to suffer more with his liver, as he was now an adult he got transffered to bristol royal infirmiray. Droopy was a student at bistol university, and was a stubborn but caring individual. In december 2017 drew had really uncomfortable liver and was in a lot of pain. He was rushed into BRI where they removed his gallbladder. However their was still gall stones in his bioducts. After this they realised drews liver was deterating rapidly and arranged an appointment in London yo talk about a liver transplant. In London march time drew gad MRI and CAT scans, this then made the docrors realise that his lymphnodes around his liver had grown and changed shape. Drew went back to BRI hospital and had a biopsy on the lymphnodes in April this year. Drew recived his results on the 23rd April 2018. which they told him he had lymphoma cancer and cholangiocarcinoma cancer which was unfortunatly untreatbale. Drew then had to have stents put in his bioducts to help reduce his jaundice levels and stop pancreas infections. These stents helped with the flow of his bioducts. Drew got discharged on the 3rd May to go home with me, where i cared for him. However drew sadly passed away on the 20th May 2018 aged 20. The reason im raising money is because my son would want to help children with the liver condition.
