    Story

In the Summer of 2018, I will be travelling to Zambia with my school. We will teach in local schools, manufacture wells and build invaluable relationships.
I have marvelled at the idea of going to Zambia for a few years now having seen many pictures and presentations regarding the trip.
Living in London for my whole life, I have become so accustomed to a lifestyle where food and water is accessible to me at all times and the world news is a click away. It is so easy to take such things for granted. I can only imagine what it is like to walk for miles in the blistering heat every day to get into school or where finding your next meal is a worry. Therefore I think it would be a truly grounding experience to actually experience this type of life first hand.
Over the years I have seen a number of emotional charitable adverts in which I have been thoroughly persuaded to text in my five pound. To give help to struggling families in poor countries is fantastic but there is only so much you can do sitting on your living room sofa. I desperately want to be there, in the country, actively helping the people and to really know that I am making a difference.
I know it is a cliché but I honestly believe that this trip would be life changing because never again would I get the chance to go so off track in an African country. It would be an experience in which I’d look back to with fond memories for many years.
It would mean so much if you could be so kind and generous to help me help the children there. Thank you so much for giving up your time to read this and I can only give you my gratitude if you can spare some money.
    Thank you!

Ollie I know the girls at Crystal Palace like you, but please, for God's sake keep it in your pants in Africa (not racist...just banter).

Well done Olly. Good luck with raising the full amount. It sounds like you will have an amazing experience helping out in Zambia. Reckon you could give them a bit of footie coaching into the bargain!

        £50.00
