I am delighted to announce that I have been chosen as a Finalist for Miss Universe Great Britain 2020, the official qualifier for Miss Universe @missuniverse .

@missuniversegreatbritain aims to empower, support and celebrate women, and today, on International Women’s Day, it is a great opportunity to recognise and reflect upon the challenges and prejudice women have faced for centuries and the resilience and strength they have shown to overcome these.

@asisterhood supports admirable women across the globe who have and are currently facing hardship - one cause being @stopacidattacks . This charity supports those who have been victims of acid attacks in India, where often, the perpetrator is a male family member. These beautiful women, both inside and out, are the epitome of everything a women represents: compassion, courage and confidence. The charity provides the resources for these women to build a life back up for themselves - which they once thought would be tarnished forever - by providing them with support, shelter and their livelihoods.

A-Sisterhood also supports additional fantastic causes such as; the Read Foundation, who fund the education of 16 orphan girls in rural Pakistan, Women’s Aid, Smalls for All - who provide underwear to women and girls in Africa, the National Female Genital Mutilation Centre, who aspire to end new cases in the next 15 years in England, The Black Mambas in South Africa and Llamau; a Cardiff Based Homeless Charity.
