TRO Calendar Boys 2018 - Bare-Chested in the Yard
You will recall the fabulous true story, Calendar Girls, depicting 11 Woman's Institute ladies who appeared nude for charity. So, a little plan was hatched to create a TRO Calendar … we enlisted our very own semi-professional photographer James Kerwin who is currently helping us create 12 perfect shots!
The TRO calendar will of course be discrete & tasteful, the theme for the original calendar was baking and knitting, with strategically placed fruitcakes & flower arrangements. We are just replacing the cakes with motorbikes, vans, forklifts and purposefully placed pumpkins …

We are asking for a donation of £7.50 per calendar - with the funds raised, we will be supporting a charity called Qhubeka which is an African not-for-profit organisation that donates bicycles as part of the World Bicycle Relief's charity programme; improving access in rural areas to schools, clinics and jobs. Qhubeka is currently supported by Team Dimension Data World Tour Cycling Team, Britain’s professional cyclist Mark Cavendish currently rides for them.
TRO have purchased 120 beaded Qhubeka Bracelets, which we will be giving to everyone who purchases a TRO Calendar. Profits from the sale of the bracelets goes to funding programmes in South Africa. The bracelets are put together by women as part of a rural development project. You can wear this bracelet with pride knowing that not only are you donating towards mobilising people with bicycles, but you are also helping to break the cycle of poverty for rural African women by helping to create employment opportunities.
Qhubeka is a Nguni word meaning “to move forward”, “to carry on”, “to progress”. Recipients earn bicycles through Learn-to-earn programmes for children and Work-to-earn programmes for adults. Qhubeka also provide bicycles to first responders for disaster relief. As of 2017 the charity have delivered over 80,000 bicycles.
We look forward to receiving your donation of £7.50, which includes your calendar & bracelet.
