Story

The Hill has benefited from "Welcome to Troopers Hill" flags for the past couple of years but unfortunately they have been taken down due to fatigue. The flags are much loved by local residents - especially young children who love spotting the flags when going down Troopers Hill Road.

Please help fund two new flags to last the next couple of years.

The flag sits on the Hill near Greendown. They are very exposed to sun, wind and rain so after a while they become faded and ripped. In the past, flags were free as they were Green Flag awards but Bristol City Council no longer has the resources to put sites up for Green Flag assessments. Friends of Troopers Hill don't have the funds to keep buying new flags.

That's where you come in! It's a relatively small sum we need to raise. If 50 households on Troopers Hill Road donated just £2 we could have 2 new flags. If 20 people give £5 we can reach our target even faster.
