I am getting ready to compete in my first ever Iron Man race on September 9th, I'll be swimming 2.3 miles, biking 120 miles and finishing with a marathon. With support from family and friends I have been training for several months and am both excited and nervous about the upcoming challenge. I want to raise money for two charities which are close to my heart, Crohn's & Colitis UK and Bristol After Stroke. I have family and friends who suffer from both Crohn's and Colitis and want to help raise awareness for these conditions. I lost my both my grandparents this year due to complications following their strokes and Bristol After Stroke is a local charity which helps families and patients after they have suffered a stroke which is really important to me. Any support you can offer me in helping to raise money for these charities would be greatly appreciated.
