Story
Remembering Rich Sheppard
We invite you to join us in remembering our dear colleague and friend, Rich Sheppard. Rich's life was tragically cut short in May 2022 by the biggest killer of men aged 15-49, suicide.
Rich brought joy and humour to our workspace as part of the Digital team, leaving an indelible mark on all who knew him. His absence leaves an immense void not only at Troy, but in the hearts of those who loved him, most acutely, his young daughter Summer. Just five years old at the time, her world was forever changed by the loss of her father.
Honouring Rich's Legacy
In the wake of this tragedy, Troy embarked on a mission to honour Rich's memory and support causes that work in helping prevent suicide and support for anyone impacted by suicide. To accomplish this, Troy have established the Richard Sheppard Discretionary Trust.
The Trust was initially set-up with Rich's daughter Summer in mind, to benefit her when she reaches adulthood and give her a brighter future.
50% of the Trust is set aside to benefit two incredible charities: Pete's Dragon and the Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM). These organisations tirelessly work towards preventing suicide and provide crucial support to individuals struggling with mental health challenges and supporting their families.
