I've raised £1000 to fund material for production of PPE such as scrubs, ear protectors, gowns and scrub bags for NHS frontline staff

Amidst the unprecedented crisis where everyone is trying their level best to help and support each other, Clayhall United For Good has initiated a sewing group of community members from Redbridge and Chigwell and beyond to help and support our frontlines NHS heroes.
Our initial group of just 5 ladies has quickly grown to over 40 in just 2 weeks and have already stitched over 600 scrub bags for London Ambulance and care homes.
The Redbridge and Chigwell Covid 19: For the Love of Scrubs Seamstresses have been inundated with requests for more scrub bags, scrubs, gowns, and ear protectors. Despite having a great team of ladies ready to stitch we cannot fulfil all the requests coming through from hospitals and care homes without your help. Although the community has been generous in giving donations of fabric, we are still in dire need of quality materials for scrubs and for other PPE such as fabric, cotton yarn, strong sewing threads, buttons etc.
Please give generously to enable us to purchase the materials needed. We do not want to deny our local doctors, nurses and carers the PPE needed to keep them safe. Together we can protect our frontline staff
Thank you.
