Story
Who we are . . . .
The Suffolk Autism Social club started in 2015 and has approximately 30 members. The club was set up to enable adults on the autistic spectrum to meet others with the condition and it has gone from strength to strength, with people travelling from across the county to attend the monthly sessions.
Our aim . . . .
We would love to raise some funds to provide a grogramme of activities for the people who attend, for example music/dance workshops, cooking demonstrations, creative writing tutorials and visits to local places of interest.
My involvement . . . . .
As some of you may know, I am was instrumental in getting the club up and running and I have raised funds for it in the past. What has prompted me to do so again, is that I'm running my first half marathon on March 18th and my intention was to ask people to sponsor me to raise the funds we need for the club. However, as we are not set up as a charity I decided to go down the crowdfunding route instead. So, if you are able to give just a couple of pounds (or more) to this very worthy cause, it will be very much appreciated. Thank you.
