My name is Trudy and I'm 53 years old. 11 years ago out of the blue, I lost the use of my legs and became paralysed.

I was diagnosed with a condition called Transverse Mylitis. It's a very rare condition, it only effects 1 in a million people. In the space of 3 days from being a normal working person with a good career. I was in a wheelchair and unable to walk. Unfortunately I have been left with limited mobility and in incredible pain everyday.

Ever since I have been diagnosed I have been looking for a disability friendly property. It has taken over 10 years to find one. An opportunity has now arisen for me to move into a disability friendly property which I'm extremely grateful for.

The reason for the fundraising is to help towards the cost of removals and to help pay for tradesmen.

Any help would be extremely appreciated and make my dreams come true. To allow me to live as normal a life as possible.
