After 16 months of work towards launching our new degree and securing student finance for 2025, we’ve been hit with a devastating setback: the validation of our course has been delayed, and will now not be possible until 2026.

This puts TTC at immediate risk of closure and we now need your help to raise £200,000 by the end of June to support our students through the 2025–2026 academic year and bridge the gap to the launch of the course in September 2026.

TTC is thriving—with a full September intake, outstanding qualification results, and 100% of this year’s graduates securing representation or professional work. 

But without your support, we simply will not be able to continue.

Alongside our high-profile national fundraising campaign we’re calling on everyone—alumni, industry colleagues, friends, and supporters—to help us save TTC and take a stand for small-group, high-quality performing arts training.

Our students—both current and incoming—have been informed of this heartbreaking development, and their privacy and wellbeing is of paramount importance for us as we initiate our next steps to support them through this incredibly difficult time.

But this fight is bigger than just us. TTC is not the first, and sadly won’t be the last, small college to face this kind of challenge. We are simply the latest in a growing list of specialist providers struggling to survive.

This is a stand for accessible, individualised training in the performing arts. We must not allow a future where quality training is only available to those who can afford it, or where personal, high-contact learning disappears from the sector.

Make no mistake—this appeal is our last resort. As a college, we have already given everything to keep TTC alive. Now we must ask for your help.
