This will fund a series of weekly creative drop in sessions for children and young people in Wirral, mostly from disadvantaged backgrounds, with a view to co-create projects that address children and young people's needs, rights and freedoms. This project will enable Lauren and Tuckshop Dance Theatre to deepen our impact, to build new relationships with children and young people that may have faced barriers to access creative and cultural participation before, to benefit the local community, to allow children and young people to participate in creative and digital arts, connect with indoor and outdoor spaces in Wirral, to socialise and learn in a safe environment, to get active, creative and boost their health and wellbeing."
