£476raised of £1,000 target by 21 supporters

Weʼre raising £1,000 to provide teaching and learning resources for vulnerable students at the Parikrma Foundation and the Baale Mane Children's Home in Bangalore.

What is crowdfunding?

Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered nonprofit.

The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.

The Initial Teacher Education students from The University of Sheffield are visiting Bangalore in India for two weeks in February 2020 as part of their teacher education course. They are able to share teaching and learning ideas with colleagues and work with disadvantaged students at the co-educational Parikrma Foundation. They also work with vulnerable girls at a local children's home - Baale Mane. The money raised will provide the resources to support the education and welfare of these young people. Thank you for your kind contributions.
