The earthquake in Turkey and Syria has been devastating: thousands have lost their lives and many more have been left homeless and facing immense loss. The consequences will be felt for years to come.
A group of businesses, artists and all round lovely peeps from in and around Brighton with friends and families in Turkey, Syria and affected areas, have decided to do a family-friendly fundraiser on Sunday 26th at Shortts bar, Brighton, kicking off at 12.00 and going all the way through to midnight. Come and join us to enjoy live music provided by Turkish, Kurdish and Syrian musicians and a groovy selection of global music laid on by DJs from local radio stations.
There will be Levantine food and drink from 12 till 7 (or when it runs out), face painting for kids and a raffle with fantastic prizes donated by local businesses. It's a chance to get involved in helping those affected and to support organisations such as (please complete) who are directly working with people in the areas most impacted. We have chosen to donate to organisations who are working directly with those most in need. Do check out their credentials here:
