Meet Timur, an extraordinary individual from Turkey who has dedicated the last 17 years of his life to rescuing and caring for stray dogs. Timur's compassion and commitment to these animals are awe-inspiring, and he is supported wholeheartedly by his wife, who also looks after his elderly parents in their home.

In a country where stray dogs are considered vermin and often subjected to neglect and abuse, Timur stands as a beacon of hope for these innocent creatures. His shelter currently houses around 500 stray dogs, providing them with love, care, and the safety they deserve. Timur's days are long, working tirelessly for 18 hours with the help of a few volunteers during the week to care for these dogs.

To combat the overpopulation of strays, Timur takes proactive steps by spaying all new female dogs, preventing the birth of unwanted puppies. Additionally, his shelter serves as a safe haven, ensuring that dogs receive a dignified and loving environment to pass on peacefully.

Our Goals:

Puppy Vaccines: Timur needs help in covering the cost of vaccines for 30 puppies, 11 of whom are orphans. The total cost for all thirty vaccines amounts to £780.

Secure Fence: With the number of adult dogs at the shelter increasing, a secure fence is urgently required to protect them from the dangers of the road. The quote for the fence stands at £4,000, and thanks to generous donors, £1,500 has already been raised.
