Story
Tees Valley Gymnastics Club provides classes to children in the Tees Valley 7 days a week; our coaches give their time and expertise to the extent of taking on an additional part time job on top of their full time careers. I couldn't ask for a better team and the children at the club are thriving! We have built a gymnastics centre from scratch, building our own sprung floor and raising and scraping funds to buy second hand equipment, but that's okay, we've managed and we're proud of our achievements. We are unable to apply for huge sums of money from bigger charities as our lease agreement never meets the criteria. The club was broken into on Wednesday 25th July by scaling a 10ft metal gate and smashing a huge rock through a window. The centre was broken into again on Monday 7th August and further damage has occured. This is our third break in in 7 months and we’re once again left devastated. We’re trying to raise £3,000 to cover the damages and loss and secure our treasured community club by installing a security system and cctv.
Please, if you can spare anything to help Tees Valley Gymnastics Club, we would be eternally grateful.
Thank you 😊
