Twickenham Repair Cafe tackles the current culture of throwing away rather than repairing. Vast amounts of stuff gets thrown away and many people have forgotten that they can repair things themselves. Changing mindsets can kindle people’s enthusiasm for a more sustainable society and show people how much fun repairing can be.

Our talented team of volunteers will be covering repairs to: textiles, household and garden electrical, mechanical, ceramics, radios and will have a plant hospital, glueing things station and a “Kids take it apart” table.
