Daisy and Pippa are travelling to Calais to teach yoga to the volunteers that are supporting the thousands of refugees arriving and existing in Calais. The cruel demolition of ‘The Jungle’ by French authorities two years ago has not resolved the problem and left families, single men and unaccompanied children more vulnerable than ever. The effort to support the refugees is done by generous volunteers from around the world; some donating a day or week, others choosing to live in Calais to give to others.

Twin Yoga have joined an initiative set up by The Guilty Feminist podcast as an effort to give back to the volunteers through a summer of comedy, music and well-being events. While they are there they will join the volunteers in the warehouse preparing food, sorting clothes and making care packages to be distributed to the refugees.

There is no coverage of this human tragedy in our news anymore but the need to support this cause bigger than ever as the warehouse stocks are alarmingly low.
