Two Idiots One Kingdom

On 9th July 2026 Ste and Mike (The Two Idiots) will be swapping pints for peddles as they challenge themselves to ride 600 miles from Scotland finishing at Warrington Fire Station at 12:30pm on Saturday 18th July to raise funds for The Skyla Project.

The Skyla Project was founded by watch manager Nic Brennan, in memory of his two friends Kieran Naylor and Rebecca Foster, who tragically lost their lives, alongside their beloved pets Skye and Nyla, in a house fire in November 2022.

The project aims to equip every fire station across the Northwest with life saving equipment and specialist training to help rescue small animals in emergency situations.

Before their passing, Nic had shared his idea with Kieran and Rebecca, who had pledged to help fund the project. Sadly, they never got the chance to see it come to life.

With the support of their families, Nic was determined to honour their memory and carry the vision forward. The result is THE SKYLA PROJECT-named after Skye and Nyla, a lasting legacy dedicated to saving the lives of animals in emergencies.

Just two ordinary lads taking on an extraordinary challenge:

Probably some regret around 300 miles in, but this challenge is nothing compared to what this cause represents.
