Hi, my name is Tymek and I am 6 years old.

I was born with a very rare genetic condition – Sturge–Weber syndrome.

Every day I struggle with:

paralysis on one side of my body

drug-resistant epilepsy

developmental delay

stroke-like episodes

suspected glaucoma

I am non-verbal and need help with everyday activities.

In September 2024, my life changed dramatically.

I suffered a skull fracture, meningitis, and a sudden increase in epileptic seizures.

Since then, I have experienced three stroke-like episodes and lost many of the skills I had worked so hard to achieve.

Now, I have to relearn everything from the beginning.

We are raising funds for intensive rehabilitation and specialised rehabilitation camps, which are essential for my development.

Rehabilitation is my only chance to regain skills, improve my independence, and have a better future.

Cześć, jestem Tymek

Urodziłem się z bardzo rzadką chorobą genetyczną – zespołem Sturge’a-Webera.

Zmagam się z:

niedowładem jednej strony ciała

padaczką lekooporną

opóźnieniem psychoruchowym

epizodami udarowymi

podejrzeniem jaskry

Nie mówię i potrzebuję pomocy w codziennym funkcjonowaniu.

We wrześniu 2024 roku doznałem pęknięcia czaszki, zapalenia opon mózgowych oraz gwałtownego nasilenia ataków padaczkowych.

Od tamtej pory przeszedłem trzy epizody udarowe i straciłem wcześniej wypracowane umiejętności.

Każdego dnia ponownie uczę się podstaw i walczę o sprawność.

i specjalistyczne turnusy rehabilitacyjne

Rehabilitacja jest dla mnie jedyną szansą

na rozwój i większą samodzielność.
