At UAL, we’ve voted yet again to join colleagues at Universities across the UK who are campaigning for an end to the scandal of casualisation, for decent contracts, fair workloads, a realistic pay rise and a real commitment to ending intersectional pay gaps throughout our sector. This time round we join workers in many other sectors protesting against the escalating cost of living crisis.

We want all UCU members at UAL to be able to exercise their right to take industrial action and to be heard when they speak out. They do so on behalf of all of us. This takes courage and it takes finance: we set up this crowdfunding page to support those are are making the financial and personal sacrifice that striking involves. A days pay lost for every day on strike is very tough, especially in a cost of living crisis. Please donate so we can offer some minimal financial support to those taking action.
