As part of our final year at Strathclyde Uni We will be taking on a 12 week placement; helping to open a nursery in Malawi for young girls, who are either orphaned or living in destitute conditions.

Some parents of the children attending the nursery gave birth to their children at the very young age of ten years old. Supporting females through education can help to prevent this sort of lifestyle for future generations.

We have set up this page in the hope of raising funds that will allow us to purchase resources that we can take over to Malawi. This will help to create a warm nurturing environment inside the nursery, provide the teachers with knowledge and teaching materials and ensure the children have stimulating resources that will enhance their development.

We have set an ambitious target as we hope there may be money left over that we can leave to the nursery to continue their development after our departure.
