As part as the young Leadership Academy, I have been given the opportunity to travel to Uganda, to a place called Lira, to improve & teach Physical Education (PE) to a primary school that is supported by the Charity: Light Force. To achieve this I will be taking part in fundraising events to assist in reaching my target of £1,000 so Lightforce international can take me out to help with their charity work.

Uganda is a third world country where most of their people live below the poverty line. This means that many children and adults haven't been given the opportunity to receive good education and healthcare as they are unable to afford it. LightForce is a charity that changes this unfortunate life style and helps them to develop as people and help develop the local area.

By making a contribution to the chairty (LightForce), I will be able to make a difference to impact their lives in a positive manner. This is because i am being able to introduce the importance of Physical education and help improve their understanding of enjoyment towards all sports and to mostly make sure they have fun and are safe. The money that is donated to this charity will go towards the education and healthcare of these people and will also contribute towards safer facilities and better housing and equipment for the school and surrounding area.
