Our family is facing the hardest time we have ever experienced, and we are asking for your help.

My mother-in-law in Tanzania became seriously ill and was admitted to hospital. What began as a suspected case of malaria has developed into a life-threatening medical emergency. She has since been diagnosed with severe malaria, pneumonia, and tuberculosis. She has undergone emergency surgery, has been moved between ICU and HDU, and is now back in intensive care after her condition deteriorated. The doctors are also investigating internal bleeding while fighting to stabilize her.

My wife is by her mother's side in Tanzania, while I am in the UK trying to support them from thousands of miles away. It has been heartbreaking feeling so helpless during such a frightening time.

The cost of private hospital treatment, emergency care, surgery, medications, and ongoing treatment is far beyond what our family can afford. We are doing everything we can, but we urgently need help.

Every donation, no matter the amount, will go directly towards my mother-in-law's medical care and the costs associated with her treatment. If we raise more than is needed for her immediate care, any remaining funds will be used to support her ongoing recovery and essential medical needs.
