I've raised £3000 to support the post Covid renovation of Child Africa School in Uganda. I am cycling the British coastline, approximately 7000km in 70 days.

I am planning to cycle the entire coast of mainland Britain- approximately 7000 K- to raise £3000 to support the Child Africa Junior School in Kabale, Uganda. I will be cycling 100k per day for 10 weeks.
The school where my wife works, Littleover Community School in Derby, have been visiting and supporting Child Africa Junior School since 2014, and my wife has been one of the trip leaders for 6 years. Covid has affected children and staff of Child Africa Junior school massively and LCS have not been able to visit, undertake project work or raise funds for Child Africa in one of the poorest regions in Africa. The Ugandan government have implemented a harsh lockdown, closing schools and businesses, and banning all travel. The results of this are that the Child Africa School's retaining walls and the vegetable gardens which feed the children have fallen into disrepair. As well as this, the classrooms are in urgent need of redecoration having been left to deteriorate.
LCS urgently needs funds to ensure that Child Africa School, its vegetable gardens and its walls are renovated so the charity can continue to care for and educate some of the poorest children in the world. Please give whatever you can to enable LCS to begin project and renovation work again at Child Africa Junior School and to help the children of Kabale get their lives back to normal after the devastating impact of Covid.
