Story

Taking the Dive for Men's Mental Health

I'm participating in a charity skydive on 8th August, jumping from 10,000ft.

Too many men struggle in silence with depression, addiction, and mental health challenges. I’m raising money for the UK Men’s Sheds Association (UKMSA) to help support men who may feel alone and without support.

https://menssheds.org.uk/

I know personally how difficult those battles can become, and how isolating depression and addiction can feel when you’re trying to cope alone. That experience has shown me how important support, conversation, and access to help really are.

Where the Money Will Go

The funds raised will help support UKMSA through:

• Mental health support for men

• Suicide prevention awareness

• Encouraging open conversations around mental health

Why This Matters

Every donation, no matter the size, helps raise awareness and supports people who may be struggling behind closed doors. If this fundraiser encourages even one person to speak up or seek help, it’s worth it.

How You Can Help

• Donate if you’re able

• Share this page with others

• Check in on friends, family, and colleagues

• Help break the stigma around men’s mental health

If you can donate — even a small amount — it could help someone take the first step toward getting support.

Thank you so much for your support. Even sharing this page can make a huge difference.
