Since March 2022, as part of St Lawrence Church and the Tove Benefice, we have collected and delivered aid to Ukraine, which has then been distributed to those most in needed by trusted local aid organisations. During this time, our small team including local Ukraine nationals Oleh Naida and Uliana Teslia, has collected circa 50 tons of humanitarian and medical aid - this includes the entire contents of 2 local care homes which closed down!

We have also fundraised and delivered 7 ex-NHS ambulances which were donated to frontline paramedics, and have inspired others to assist in similar and greater ways.

Unfortunately the need for aid this winter in Ukraine is as great as anytime, and cost effective transport is becoming more scarce. We would therefore be grateful for any donation, however small, towards shared volunteer transport costs.

In early February, we plan to load the huge amount of aid we have collected In Towcester into friendly Ukraine bound vehicles, and contribute to the significant costs that will be incurred. Items will then be delivered to our volunteers and other trusted organisations in Ukraine.
