Story

Hello

Thank you so much for visiting this page and considering whether you are able to assist me in my venture.

I am taking part in an aid mission to the Polish/ Ukranian border next Friday 18th March. I have joined ranks with the organisation Van-Aid which is also working closely on logistics with the Polski Klub Southampton. Like so many of us, I have personally donated to the Red Cross but I felt compelled to reach out further and offer my physical time and services where it might be needed.

Therefore, I have arranged for transport and a team member to join the Van-Aid convoy mission out of Southampton on 18th March.

My gratitude for this goes to Rob at RJB Vehicle Logistics for the loan of a van and Ross Shannon at Carpet Magik, who will be with me on the journey. As we speak, supplies of specific items that I know are needed are flooding in.

Items such as mobile phone power banks, dry food stuffs and baby food will be transported and my local village amenities have come forward as collection points and storage hubs. As far as is necessary I will personally fund my part of this trip. However, I am aware that the cost of fuel to get to Poland and back could spiral, and that is why I am reaching out, through Crowd Funding, to ask for donations to help fund the fuel bill.

Anything you can give will directly help me to become a viable and fully operational member of the convoy, and all surplus cash that is not funnelled into my petrol tank will be forwarded to Van-Aid who are operating missions on a rolling basis.

Thank you so much!
