In the summer of 2017 Our small team of three friends will be taking part in 'The Mongol Rally'; An intrepid journey in which, every summer since that of 2004, fools in groups of 2-4 have driven approximately 12'000 Miles from Bodiam castle in East Sussex to Ulanbataar in Mongolia unassisted across 5 mountain ranges and 3 deserts in a 1 litre banger!

people from all over the world have attempted this challenge for a multitude of reasons ranging from those with the fundamental need in the core of their being to thrust themselves into potentially dangerous situations in potentially dangerous parts of the planet in search for adventure and understanding... To those desperately defending the capabilities of cars that once were bad, and then became old...

one thing that has always been at the centre of the rally (apart from idiocy) is the desire to raise both money and awareness for charities and worthy causes of all kinds. This includes a mandatory minimum £500 raised per team for the rally's chosen charity 'Cool Earth' with a minimum donation of a further £500 to each team's chosen charities.

We are raising money to donate to the Syrian Civil Defence or 'White Helmets'. they are Syrians who, instead of fleeing occupied areas of Syria that were being bombed by the Russian/ Assad coalition, stayed as unpaid 1st response aid workers in areas of Syria worst affected by the killing. Their daily routine involves driving in teams through these areas TOWARDS exploding bombs, with the sole intention of preserving as much human life from the rubble as possible regardless of political allegiance. These volunteers are an example of pure humanity in the face of sheer brutality and daunting adversity.
Since its formation in 2013 the White Helmets have saved close to a rising total of 60'000 souls from the rubble at the cost of at least 141 lives of the 2900.
'To save a life is to save all of humanity'.
