Dear All,

Like you, I have been shocked, but also saddened to hear what has happened over the Easter Holiday. With limited resources everyone at Church Hill is doing so much that seeing it being attacked in such a way will surely concern us all. Especially when staff has to divert its energy and focus from what matters most--our children!

Such an act of vandalism, is sure to stretch the school’s budget, at a time when every school is already under financial pressure. To that end, I (with Miss Porter's help and guidance) created a funding page to help our Church Hill School recover some of the costs. To date the school has had to spend over £6,000, that will not be covered by insurance, on upgrading/adding security cameras, install additional lighting etc. Basically, to ensure our children's safety. Furthermore, during this period there is on site security at a considerable cost, as part of the insurance requirement. So that amount will continue to rise.

The funds we can raise may not be much, considering the grand total of this unexpected cost, nevertheless, every drop should certainly help.

Let's give whatever we can, however small or grand...
