Story

Mental Illnesses can affect 20% of the UK's population. As of now, 70% of children and adults do not receive sufficient support for their conditions. Talking from our own experience it's not as easy to just go and get help. To show our support for this cause we will by raising money for a charity called "Young Minds" to help give people necessary support fast.

On the 15th of July, we will be setting out on a unique challenge of unicycling 60 – 70 miles around the Isle of Man over four days, to raise money and awareness for a charity called “Young Minds” who help support teenagers struggling with mental illnesses. The team consists of: Charlie Rixon (17 years old) who will be riding the unicycle and has suffered from his own mental illnesses in the past. Milo Abbiss (18 years old), who is leading the support vehicle, with essential supplies for Charlie, such as water & food. Matthew Owen (18 years old), will be filming the whole trip, to create a short documentary, that can be shared online and submitted to film festivals, helping reach more people our age via a method they use on a day to day basis.

We are looking for anyone that has a keen interest to support us on our trip, helping us reach more people, and raise even more money for ‘Young Minds’.

Thank you.
