I've raised £10000 to raise funds for organisations who continue to provide incredible support for the most vulnerable in our society.

In what are such very difficult times for many families in our local area, the town’s two biggest football clubs are coming together in this time of need.
Yeovil United Football Club and Bridgwater Town Football Club are joining forces to raise much needed funds and awareness for local charities within the Bridgwater area. The ‘United For Bridgwater’ campaign, is a joint mission to support the local community, with a target to raise £10,000 through both club’s '50 For Bridgy’ event - 50 marathons in a day for the town.
With both men’s and women’s football suspended until at least the middle of February each club’s senior squad and management including CEO Adam Murry and Chairman Bob Buckingham, will be taking on this gruelling challenge.
Each player will take to the streets of their local area to complete the 26.2 miles by foot, in no more than 24 hours on 6th February 2021. All money raised will stay in the town and go to such worthy causes who provide incredible support to the most vulnerable in our society.
The funds raised will go to support organisations such as Bridgwater Foodbank and other deserving charities.
We ask followers of both clubs and the wider community, to back our campaign and help us serve our community.
Two clubs, one goal, United for Bridgwater.
