This year, we will be travelling to Gambia to offer our support in improving the facilities of 2 secondary schools, 2 primary schools, a nursery, and an orphanage, and we need your help.
The Gambia is the smallest of the African countries, and one of the poorest countries in the world; despite some economic growth in the past twenty years, much of its population still live in poverty. More than 50% of the adult population can’t read or write, and while education facilities are improving, more work needs to be done.
We believe that all young people deserve the chance to have a proper education, which is why we’ll be heading to Gambia on 13th November. We’ll be rolling up our sleeves and getting our hands dirty while we’re there, to help improve the facilities of the schools and the orphanage we visit. We will also be making sure the young people have stationery to do their schoolwork, and we’ll be aiming to give each student a new pair of shoes, as many children walk to school barefoot.
To do all of this, we need to raise £10,000, and that’s where you can come in. With your support, we can make a real difference in the lives of some of the world’s poorest people.
Every single contribution will go directly to the children, So any donations will be greatly appreciated.
If you would like to join us on this journey and help give back, please leave a message and we'd love to send you all the details. Together we can achive great things.
