University Rowing Aberdeen (the joint programme between Robert Gordon University Boat Club and Aberdeen University Boat Club) are doing a Sponsored Journey to Lapland between 28th November- 5th December! We will be rowing/erging/cycling/running/walking and swimming between Aberdeen, Scotland and Lapland, Finland. Our virtual journey will cover a massive 4,087.4km! We will be doing this to raise much needed funds for equipment this Christmas in time for the new season ahead.

Our members will be tracking their activity through the University Rowing Aberdeen Strava group and regular updates on the distance covered will be given through our social media channels.

The joint programme provides athletes of all levels, from beginners to GB trialists, the opportunity to compete and participate in this great team sport. We are raising money to purchase much needed new equipment for University Rowing Aberdeen to help with the demand in the programme.

The purchase of this equipment would greatly support the development of the URA project and benefit our athletes immensely, so any size of donation is greatly appreciated!
