I've raised £1700 to support Oxford Mutual Aid and UCBC

UCBC are kickstarting our New Year with a huge challenge - a 100-hour ergathon!
As a club, we will collectively keep one of the ergs in University College Oxford’s gym moving for 100 continuous hours from midday on Monday to 4pm on Friday.
Our motivation through the many long hours and gruelling night shifts will be to raise money for an inspiring local cause, Oxford Mutual Aid. Oxford Mutual Aid are a grassroots community support group who provide 170 local Oxfordshire homes with regular household supplies, including delivering over 100 emergency food parcels and redistributing 18 tons of surplus food per month! Oxford Mutual Aid was founded to respond to the challenges of the pandemic but has since become a lifeline for many in battling against the cost of living crisis and believe that nobody should face food insecurity or stigma for seeking assistance.
Our fundraising target is £1700. Funds raised will be split equally between charity and the boat clubs’ internal goal - raising £850 to rehandle the women*s second boat blades! We will be very grateful for every penny and pound that is generously donated to push us through the 100-hours and help us work towards our fundraising goal!
